The Real Jobs

All team work and communication must be performed in the team environment. All team members should agree upon each process before continuing to the next process. Each team member must contribute and will be noted in the proposal report. Each phase of the project must be approved by Mr. C before continuing to the next phase. Below are the phases for the project:

Your Company Creation Phase

The first step is to conceive your company name and logo. You must create a mission statement (this must also be included in the client proposal report).

Client's Design Phase

Next you must create The Jittery Cup's logo and a sketch of the design layout. The Pixel Mixer will be responsible for the final logo. The Design Meister will lead the design layout during the design phase. All team members are required to work together and approve the designs.

Analysis Phase (Client Background Information)

The Content King team member will be in charge of the analysis phase and collaborating as a team on the proposal report to be submitted:

  1. What will be The Jittery Cup's URL for their website?
  2. Determine the expectations The Jittery Cup will have for the website.
  3. Determine the target audience (age, gender, interests, socioeconomic).
  4. Establish three competitors which The Jittery Cup will be competing against.
  5. What are the goals of the The Jittery Cup's website.

Design Phase

Your company will need to design a site layout and submit this to Mr. C for approval. Once approved you will proceed to the design phase. Continue to work as a team and contact Mr. C with any questions.

  1. Choose a color scheme for The Jittery Cup. This color scheme should compliment the new The Jittery Cup logo. Color Scheme Designer is a website that can assist you with color schemes.
  2. Sketch a simple layout for your site on your Client Proposal Report.
  3. The site layout should follow good design principles for color, font, images, and content. You must be prepared to defend your reasons for choosing your site layout.
  4. The site layout must also be easy to navigate and the content must be concise yet thorough for the target audience.
  5. The The Jittery Cup web site will include 5 pages total: Home Page, Services/Menu Page, Online Ordering Page, Contact Page, and a fifth page of your choosing. Refer to your Design Proposal Report for the content needed for each page.
  6. The Team Boss will submit the final design.
